Pierluigi Pompei has been announced as one of three finalists for the 2025 National Ceramics Prize De Kei, the Netherlands’ leading award for excellence in ceramic art.

From a shortlist of 15 selected artists, the jury has nominated the following three finalists:

- Anemone on Fire

- Pierluigi Pompei

- Anton Reijnders

Awarded biennially, De Kei celebrates a ceramicist of exceptional quality, intending to strengthen recognition and appreciation of ceramic art in the Netherlands. The prize highlights both Dutch artists and international artists working within the country.

Established in 2020 by ceramics collectors Ankie Maessen and Bert van Meggelen, the award reflects their dedication to supporting and encouraging talent in ceramics as an art form.
